Weekend Haul! 9/7/25

Well, hello! Sorry I missed last week, but honestly I only got maybe two things and didn't feel like doing a post for just that. This week we have some great buys, and...I bought a new house! So for the next few weeks I'm going to be working on that, and will post "in progress" updates! And just in case you think I don't use the things I've been buying during these hauls, I already know of some things that will definitely be going into my new home, including a couple of things from this week. So let's get started!

First, we have these lovely Butterfly Clocks (79 L$ each) from Finca. There were three other colors, but I thought these two would be the most versatile. You can click on the door to start or stop the pendulum swinging, and click on the drawer below to choose either light or dark components on the clock (face, hands, pendulum, and butterflies). I show both options in the picture. I loved how different and old world these looked with the soft curves. They're very graceful for a standing clock.

Next, we have the Autumn Wall System (90 L$) from Kraftwork. There's both a single and a double panel, and they come with a HUD that allows you to choose from a number of different wood  colors for the wainscoting, and different wallpapers, as well as a smooth plaster option, for the walls. This would be such a nice way to add some flair to a house with nothing but plain, boring walls.

Speaking of items that will probably be going in my new house...we have this adorable living room set from Muniick. This set is available through four different vendors. You get the Llewellyn Tightback Chair Set & Ottoman (74L$) in one, and the Llewellyn Tightback Sofa (74 L$) in another.

You also have two decor bundles...the Llewellyn Living Room Tables & Decor Set A (60 L$) and Llewellyn Decor Bundle B (60 L$). These contain the decor elements you see here. I honestly can't remember exactly what all came in each, so check the vendor. But really, with these sets so inexpensive, it would probably just be easier to get them all.

The chairs and couch (along with blankets and pillows) have different colors to choose from, and the options are available from clicking different places in the furniture. The rug, tables and lamps also have color options, and I've put them out here in different shades to give you an idea of what's available.

Lastly, I got the Private Eye Tiffany Blinds (82 L$) from The Looking Glass. It comes with all the different blinds you see here in all their different configurations. Also included are the coat rack, small dresser, radio, and Tiffany style lamp. (I honestly bought this set just for the lamp. It's really pretty!) But the whole group is great set dressing for a film noir detective office.

And lastly, we have my new pride and joy, the Oak Well House (1800 L$) from ROOST. I also got the snow roof to fit this house for an additional 300 L$. This house comes with both a left and right option (this is the right), and also has separate rails for the patio, an optional fireplace, and optional chimney.

This place is SO CUTE. I already have plans to enclose the outdoor patio, and make it an office/library. Since I'm using this for my fall/winter home, I figured that would be a better use of that space. It has that early 20th century Craftsman style that I adore, and I really look forward to having a house with a more vintage vibe...it's been a while since I've played around in that arena.

That's it for today! Stay tuned for more bargain finds, as well as new house updates, and I hope you all have a great week.

Weekend Haul! 8/23/25

Hi there! We've got a lot to cover this week, so let's dive right in! Firstly, I'll cover what I picked up at the FLF Birthday Bash! As you might imagine, the price tags on these items are...50 L$! Most booths there also have a free gift, but I'll be honest...going through all of those can be so much work, that I rarely pick them up unless it's from a store that I really love, or there's a picture that shows exactly what I'm getting.

I'll start first with the "Morgan Curtain" from Fetch. There are two smaller packs for 50 L$ each, or a fatpack for 100 L$. I got the fatpack. I loved all the colors, and couldn't pick just one.

Also included here is the complete "Brackenwych" set from Moss and Luna. Each item was 50 L$, and I got the Apothecary Cabinet, the Pothos plant set (you get the two plants shown), Apothecary Book Stack, Cauldron Candle, and the free gift, which is the print on the wall that rounds out the set.

Next up is the "Quack and Splash" rug from Broken Arrow. I love ducks, and this was absolutely too adorable to pass up. Not to mention the texturing on this piece is just incredible! This will be a perfect rug for a bathroom.

The "Spiral Orb Lights" from Celeste were too pretty to pass up. And being an old timer, I still have a thing for particles. Anyway! If you do not, there is a HUD that lets you turn them off. It also lets you turn the lights on and off, and gives you a choice of colors for the orbs. The lamps come in silver, gold, and black metals for you to choose from, and you get them all for 50 L$.

And of course, Fancy Decor did not disappoint, with the "Abeille Tea Set". You get this full set for just 50 L$. I'm not a tea drinker by any means, but I do love bees so getting this was a no brainer.

And finally I got the "Uma Modern Cottage" from Trompe Loeil. This place is stunning! As we're heading into fall and winter, where I usually like to go more traditional and cozy, this probably won't be a house I'll use right away, but come spring/summer of next year, this will be so fun to set up and use. I've already been working on some edits for it to slice out a bathroom, and expand the kitchen.

OK! Now we're on to my goodies from the weekend sales.

This is the Lil Fox (99 L$) and the Lil Pig (96 L$) from Zaker. These are both so lovely in their own way, with the Fox being such an elegant modern piece, and the Piggybank very sweet and traditional in style. The Piggybank would also make a great tip jar, if you're in the market for one.

This is the Olsson Lamp (50 L$) from Fancy Decor. Because I can never have too many table lamps, and this one is just fun.

These are the Guse Aquariums (100 L$) from Planta. There are a few different colors, and this one is called "Cho". I love aquariums, and thought this was a fun little set. Just be aware that the fish are separate from the aquarium itself, so if you're moving it around or resizing it, be sure the fish are selected as well.

Lastly, we have the Verona Kitchen (90 L$) from Noveny. I thought this was an all in one kitchen, but it's actually modular! This is the kit all together, but you can actually mix and match the pieces to create the layout that suits you best. It comes with a HUD that lets you customize the color of the cabinets with seven different colors, counter tops, handles, sink/faucet, and refrigerator. It really is a steal, and with the classic styling, will fit in a number of different types of houses.

So the weekend haul for this week, really was a haul! I got a lot of stuff, including clothes and such which I didn't feature. Because a girl needs more than just decor. *wink*.

As I mentioned above, we are beginning to move into fall, so I'll probably be taking down my current house, and replacing it with something for fall/winter. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet...sometimes I like to skybox it during the colder seasons, and turn my land into a winter park, and sometimes I like to hibernate in a house on my land. So I'll be rezzing a few things to figure out what I'm going to do. I'll be sure to take y'all along for the ride!

Weekend Haul! 8/2/25

Hi Duckies! Back for another installment to show off my weekend sale haul. I know weekend sales are going through a bit of backlash and angst, but I'm not really wanting to go too deeply into that. I know that through these sales I have found a lot of new stores that I hadn't heard of before, and that I keep in mind to check out for further items, on sale or regular price. If something is released on a weekend sale that I already bought for full price, I don't stress about it. I take advantage to maybe get additional colors that I couldn't decide upon and/or afford previously.

I enjoy scanning through the sales on Seraphim, and use those to find the items that I'm blogging for this series, so I'm obviously going to keep doing so. If the sales go away, that's fine. I have a record here of things I've gotten in the past, and stores I'll want to keep shopping in the future.

So without further ado, here we go!

First, we have the Ruffle Curtains (100 L$) and the Antique Wall Mirrors - Fatpack (150 L$) from Pitaya. Y'all. These are gorgeous. The curtains also come in sheers, but for this, the opaque photographed better, so I used them. They're frilly and lovely, and beautifully made. The PBR texturing gives them a silky sheen that's really lovely. And the mirrors are amazing! I've included a detail of one of them below.

This is PBR done right. The subtle shine on the mirror frame, the slightly old and stippled texture on the mirror surface, and the way the light refracts off the mirror's bezel, it's all just *chef's kiss*.

Next, I have The Boho Cabinet (75 L$) and The Boho Wingback Chair (99 L$) from Dreamland Designs. The cabinet is delightfully quirky. The pictures come with it, but are separate, so you can choose to use them or not. The cabinet comes with the decor shown, but it's all very cute, and it isn't very deep which makes it a great piece for an entryway or hallway, as it will provide a lot of visual interest, without taking up a lot of space. The wingback chair is fun and funky, and I included a detail picture below.

I love the details with the tassels, the beading, the contrasting fabric on the chair and pillow, and even the little sag in the seat cushion that highlights the vintage feel. This is great chair for a bedroom or a reading nook.

The Osaca Rectangular Rug and Osaca Round Rug (90 L$ each) come from The Design Firm Collection. I included a couple of pictures of these to show some of the 14 colors that come with the rugs. Just touch them, and a menu pops up that lets you choose the color that suits your decor. I love the carved design texture on these, that gives visual interest while keeping the rugs themselves fairly simple. They just look so cozy and velvety, don't they? I'll be using the heck out of these.

Lastly, but certainly not leastly, is the gorgeous Draped Crystals Kit (73 L$) from The Looking Glass. These deserve another...y'all. I mean really. Honestly anything from The Looking Glass is going to be amazing. And being that I love me some crystals, buying these was a no brainer. There are nine separate pieces, and they also have a touch menu that gives you nine different colors. I've put all nine pieces and colors in the photo above, and below are some closeups to show off how luminous these are. Put these in a window, and they will look fabulous.

That's it for this week! It's so fun when everything you buy exceeds expectations. And please, when you hit these sales, give the stores a look too, and consider them for future purchases. These creators put so much work and love into what they do, and the grid is better off because of the creativity they share with us. See you next week!

Weekend Haul! 7/26/25

Howdy! Back for another weekend haul. Two weeks in a row! I didn't get as much this weekend...I was just sort of "Meh" about most things. And honestly, one of the things that I did get, I'm not so sure I'll keep, as I was a bit disappointed with it once I rezzed it. (I didn't see a demo of it at the store. If I had, I probably would have skipped it.)

So, let's check it out!

These are all the items that I got!

Espresso Shelf (Casual Pack) from Legna for 86 L$. This is a very cute shelving unit, with a HUD that lets you pick the color of the wood, and of the door fronts. There were two other color combos, but I went with the all woods pack, as I thought it would be the most versatile.

Codty Rustic Wall Decor from Noxwood for 69 L$. This is the piece that I'm not so jazzed about. Mainly because there's no dimension to the pictures. It's basically an image slapped on a prim. But the pictures themselves are pretty, so I dunno...I might play with it, and see if I can "reframe" the pictures with some of the frames in my inventory, and make it look nicer. I certainly have enough of them to choose from.

Fancy Fall Camellia Books and Objets and Fancy Fall Camellia Ceramic Mugs from Fancy Decor for 50 L$ each. I mean, c'mon. You put items out that are a collab between two of my favorite creators, Fancy Decor and Apple Fall, and you don't think I'm gonna snatch them up? They're gorgeous items, and so worth the price.

That's it for this week! Sorry it wasn't more exciting, but there's always next week. Hope y'all have a good one!

Weekend Haul! 7/19/25

Hi there! It's been a while (as usual). So, I'm trying something new that might be kind of fun. I'm scouring the weekend sales for decor items that pique my interest, and sharing them with you here!

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a cheap bitch, and I love a bargain. Back in the early days of my blogging, I had one entitled "SL Photography on a Budget", and I would spend HOURS scouring store sales, weekend sales (back then we had Fifty Linden Friday and not much else), and the Marketplace looking for inexpensive clothing/costumes, accessories, and props for my pictures. It was a lot of fun, and I loved putting it all together.

So it should come as no surprise that I scour the (now many) weekend sales for items that tickle my fancy. As there are so many you'd think that I'd end up spending a fortune anyway, but honestly? I kinda don't. Mainly because I already have SO MUCH STUFF that it has to really be an insane deal, or something more unusual and fun for me to pick it up. (Or a kitchen set or bathroom set, because I'm addicted to them for some reason, and can never have too many.)

With out further ado, here is this weekend's haul.

First off is this cute living room set from Black Nest. All of this, for only 50 L$! Even nicer, the sofa and chairs have HUDs that allow you to change the wood and upholstery colors. That's something that's always a huge draw for me. Also, sets like this are great for mixing and matching with other items in your inventory.

Your Dreams is one place that has the MOST generous weekend sales. If I go there on a weekend and don't leave with at least one thing, it's rare. This great looking bathroom set was only 80 L$, and has different woods to choose from on the shower and vanity. One thing to note, is that the decor is built in on the toilet and the sink, so if that's not your thing, keep that in mind.

This cute kitchen dining set is also from Your Dreams, and again, only 80 L$. As with the other set, the bench, chairs, and table all have HUDs that let you select your colors and wood tones. In this set the decor items are separate. I did a close up picture so that you could see how cute it all is. The only thing with these decor pieces is that they come out really large, so you'll have to do some editing. (It also comes with another table with the sides down, but I forgot to put it out for the picture.)

A girl can never have too many plants, so when I saw this grouping from Mithral for only 50 L$, I had to have it. It comes in four different tones...white, natural wood, silver, and black. This one is the silver. With this set, you can change the pot colors, and have a choice of white, blush (terracotta), or black.

And lastly, this set of decor items from Fetch for only 79 L$. Each piece is separate, and really lovely. I mean, look at the texturing on that lamp! It's gorgeous.

OK, that's it for this week! Let's see if I can be at all consistent with blogging this every week. Depending on whether or not I'm working will sort of dictate that. I do have a couple of other things planned, so watch this space!
