I will say, this room did not come together at all how I planned, but I'm not mad about it. I was going to go for a dark, cozy Autumn inspired living room, and instead I ended up with one that looked like it would be at home in a coastal cottage.
Brown and light blue are a favorite color combination of mine, and when I was going through wallpapers and found this one, I knew I'd found the one I wanted to design the room around. I did mod the color of the Bazar bookshelves against the focal wall to fit the decor better, so note that what I'm showing here is not one of the color options available.
I know I said in the last post that I was probably half way through with this series, but I've become burned out on it a bit, so I think I'm going to put it on the back burner for a while. Maybe I'll bring it back for the holidays, and do a couple of theme rooms. We'll see. But this will be the last one for now.
What will I do next? I thought it might be fun to dig through my inventory, and highlight different designers. I'm sure you've noticed that I have a core of designers that I use over and over, so I might go that direction, and do some "still lives" featuring their items.
I might also go back in time, and do a little history/overview of some of my SL Houses, again featuring the different "architects" that I tend to go back to.
